Before I came to SSTC, I was unable to write and solve simple mathematic questions. However, now I can solve complex math questions and constantly score distinction in my math.

Today, I am a student of Outram Secondary School where I am part of the OSS Peer Support Leader Committee.

SSTC has helped me to improve on my academics and has supported me through obstacles. They have also help me realise that the key to success is persistence. I will be forever indebted to SSTC.

When I first came to Singapore, I could hardly write a complete essay. I had various types of problems with my English which made it even more difficult to solve math questions. I was not confident of myself although my teachers in SSTC were. They encouraged me to work hard towards my goals and guided me throughout tough times. Through them, my dream of attaining a placement in a government school became a reality. Today I am a student in Hougang Secondary School.

Many have asked me what my secret was to success. It is persistence and endeavour. With persistence and endeavour, one can overcome any obstacles and achieve your goals. In addition, being surrounded by supportive people was another factor that contributed to my success. I will never forget to show my gratitude to them.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the teachers in SSTC Institute who had always been there for me. Thank you for your hard work, helping me with my studies. I wouldn’t be here without them. Thank you!
