    INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSION PROCEDURE

    All International students enrolling onto a course at SSTC School for Further Education are to enter into a Standard Private Education Insitution-Student Contract .

    APPLICATION PROCEDURE

    1. After counseling by SSTC staff or SSTC’s appointed agent, the student selects a suitable course and signs a Pre-Course Counseling Form.

    2. The agent/student forwards the following information to admission@sstc.edu.sg for the preparation of documents.

    i. Name of Student (as indicated in passport)
    ii. Student’s Date of Birth
    iii. Gender (Male or Female)
    iv. Passport Number
    v. Course Title
    vi. Commencement Date
    vii. Course Duration

    Students enrolling into the SSTC Diploma in Business leading to the second year entry at Australian Catholic University, or Certificate in Rooms Management leading to the second part of Higher National Diploma at London Hotel School, will also need to send/email/fax a copy of their academic transcripts and certificates as well as any IELTS/TOEFL results that they may have taken for initial review by the Academic Committee.

    3. SSTC will send a registration pack including Letter of Offer/Acceptance and Standard PEI-Student Contract either via email or courier.

    4. The student must complete the registration pack and send the pack, including signed copies of Standard PEI-Student Contract and Letter of Acceptance, via courier or registered mail along with the following documents:

    i. Photocopy of passport
    ii. Four (4) recent passport sized photographs (with white background & matte/semimatte finish)
    iii. One (1) certified true copy of birth certificate
    iv. One (1) certified true copy of highest educational certificate
    v. One (1) certified true copy of highest educational transcript of results
    vi. Bank statement (equivalent of S$30,000) for students from any country that require a visa to enter Singapore

    5. If the student is planning on applying for a Singapore Government School, the following documents will also be required:

    i. Certified true copy of parents’ marriage certificate
    ii. Certified true copy of parents’ passport

    Please note that NOTARISED TRANSLATIONS are required for all documents that are not originally written in English.

    Students should bring the original documents stated in (i), (iii), (iv), and (v) when they come to Singapore for verification by Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA) when necessary.

    All documents should be sent to SSTC School for Further Education’s appointed agents or directly to:

    6. Upon receipt of the registration pack and all the supporting documents as well as the Application Fee, SSTC School for Further Education will process the Student’s Pass application with the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA).

    7. Upon approval of the Student’s Pass by ICA, SSTC will forward the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter issued by ICA to your email address as indicated on the application form.

    8. The student pays school fees before the commencement of the course and gets the Certificate of Student Insurance from FPS insurance provider, Lonpac Insurance Bhd.

    9. The student arrives in Singapore, collects his/her student pass and starts the course.

    MODE OF PAYMENT

    Payments are to be made in Singapore Dollars by cheque, cash, NETS or bank transfer.
